  • Advertisements from various popular and trade publications are arranged by manufacturer and year.

  • Automobile Files and Truck & Bus Files contain sales brochures, press releases, and specifications.

  • Automobile Manufacturers' Association Specifications (AAMA, formerly MVMA) detail the exact specifications of domestic automobiles.

  • Biographical Files document the lives, careers, and achievements of individuals from the automotive industry.

  • Books pertaining to popular and technical histories, biographies, encyclopedias, and novels.

  • Business Records and Personal Papers include manuscripts of important industry leaders.

  • Miscellanea appertaining to audio/visual materials, court cases, artwork, posters, sheet music, and post cards.

  • Owner's Manuals relating to domestic and imported automobiles or trucks.

  • Periodicals include a superb selection of national and international automotive-oriented magazines dating back to the nineteenth century. The NAHC has several unique indexes for some of these magazines. The NAHC staff can assist customers with the use of these indexes.

  • Photographs include four major photographic collections which depict automotive products, events, individuals, and factories.

  • Service and Parts Manuals are available for the restoration or repair of domestic and imported automobiles or trucks.

  • Vertical Files contain pamphlets, newspaper and magazine clippings, selected Society of Automotive Engineers papers, racing information, and technical information.
