find. Big plus is Agency Information Gateway section providing links to federal
agencies that aren’t required to post on OPM’s USAJOBS site.
Plum Book: – Popular name for the list of federal
jobs exempt from civil service, e.g., positions such as agency heads and their
immediate subordinates, policy executives and advisors, etc. Information on
pay plans and appointment details plus name of the incumbent. Not a database
of job vacancies.
