    U.S. Department of Labor.Select one of the job families, then an occupation, and then a state. Use the Rank this occupation across all states by median wage link located under the top wage table to learn which states pay the highest / lowest for your occupation.


  • 2000 State Occupational Employment and Wage Estimates:
    Bureau of Labor Statistics. Select a state by clicking on the map and then browse list of occupations, or first find the OES code for your occupation by going to Alphabetical List of Occupations with OES Codes. Then return to the first site listed here and use the Edit/Find on Page function to go directly to the OES code number.
